How to Prime Your Coil

Stop the burnt taste! Learn the essential art of priming to extend your coil life and get the best flavor from your e-liquids.

Why is this important?

Inside every vape coil is dry cotton. If you fire the button before the cotton is fully soaked with juice, the cotton will burn instantly. Once burnt, the taste cannot be fixed—you must throw the coil away. Priming ensures the cotton is 100% saturated before heat is applied.

Drip the Juice

Take your new coil out of the box. Drip 3-5 drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed white cotton ports on the sides (and a little inside the top center).

Install & Fill

Push or screw the coil into your tank/pod. Assemble the tank and fill it to the top with your favorite e-liquid.

The "Magic" Wait

Do not touch the fire button yet! Let the tank stand upright for at least 5 to 10 minutes. This allows the liquid to soak deep into the core.

Start Low

If you have a variable wattage mod, start 10W lower than the recommended range and take short puffs, gradually increasing the power.

Using a Pod System with Built-in Coils?

If you can't remove the coil (like in XROS or Oxva pods), you can't do "Step 1". Simply fill the pod and wait 10-15 minutes before vaping. This is crucial for pod lifespan.
